Congressman McCotter encourages young constituents to take advantage of full or part-time internship opportunities in his Washington, D.C. office as well as his district office. Interns gain a unique perspective into the workings of the federal government, the legislative process, and constituent service. In Washington, interns will be used as research assistants and be assigned legislative and administrative duties. In the district office, interns will assist the staff in researching casework and corresponding with government agencies. College credit may be received through your college for your internship. Interested students should contact Intern Coordinator, Brian Romano, in the Washington D.C. office or Paul Seewald in the District office.
Applicant requirements include:
- Letter of Intent on why you like to be an intern
