Each year I have the honor of nominating qualified candidates to our nation’s Service Academies (Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and the Military Academy at West Point). The competitive nominees are selected based on a list of criteria including character, leadership, academic excellence, physical abilities and extracurricular activities. Prospective applicants should be residents of the 11th Congressional District and be between the ages of 17 and 22. If you are interested in attending one of the academies, please contact my Livonia Office by the spring of your junior year. All applications must be submitted by November 15.
