Each year I have the honor of nominating up to 10 qualified candidates to each of our nation's military academies (Military academy, Air Force academy, Naval Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, and U.S. Coast Guard Academy). The competitive nominees are selected based on a list of criteria including, character, leadership, academic excellence, physical abilities and extracurricular activities. Applicants should be between the ages of 17 and 22 and residents of Michigan's 11th Congressional District. If you are interested in attending one of the academies, please contact my Livonia Office by the spring of your junior year.
