McCotter Statement on Subcompact Car to be Built in Orion Township Plant
Washington, D.C. – Representative Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI), Chairman of Republican House Policy Committee, today released a statement in response to reports GM is making plans to build small, fuel-efficient vehicles in their Orion Township assembly plant, preserving 1,200 jobs:
“This is a welcome reprieve for some of our community’s working families, and it leaves another piece of our state’s manufacturing base in place as we commence to rebuild again.”
